Dr. Dalia Hanna, has over 25 years of experience in both business and academic institutions. Currently, she is the Program Director for the Faculty of Community Services in The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University. She oversees the program development and management of programs in community health, engagement, safety, and well-being in this role. She is also a Postdoctoral Fellow and Associate Member with YSGS in the Department of Computer Science at the University with a research focus on computational public safety, algorithms and human robot interaction.

Dalia has a Ph.D. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Instructional Design and Technology, specializing in Online Learning and B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering. She is a project management professional (PMP®), certified Procsi® Change Management Practitioner, a certified facilitator and trainer for the Instructional Skills Workshops, and certified as an auditor for the ISO9000 quality standards. Dalia’s research and publications are in project management among student groups, teaching and learning in higher education and online learning.

Dalia taught professional communication courses at The Chang School, focusing on interpersonal communication in management and is teaching courses with the School of Professional Communication on communications for engineers and introduction to professional communication.
