Description:

Drawing inspiration from Métis beadwork, dot art is a contemporary interpretation, where each dot of paint represents a bead. Grab some acrylic paint, a pencil, something to paint on and either pins, toothpicks, BBQ skewers, knitting needles or wooden dowels to create your dots. Together we will explore what makes Métis dot art unique from other forms of pointillism.

Host:

Marissa Magneson (she/her) is a Cree-Métis artist, photographer, educator and workshop facilitator based in Tkaronto.
