Justin Rain
Biography
Justin Rain holds a Master of Arts in Criminology and Social Justice from Ryerson University and Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from York University. He is currently finishing his doctoral degree in Policy Studies at Ryerson University.
His doctoral research seeks to provide a better lens with which to analyze Canadian housing policy through a multi-level governance and human rights-based framework. By considering the international and domestic policies, Justin’s research delves into the intergovernmental communication and teamwork between all levels of government in Canada (from international to municipal). From this research, a key concept is accountability, which becomes a central issue that Justin wishes to address and critically apply to Canadian politics.
