Nour Al-Nasser

Nour Al-Nasser is a PhD student in the social policy stream of the Policy studies program at Ryerson University. She currently works on the community-led COVID response and vaccine strategy at Mt. Sinai hospital. Prior to this work, Nour worked extensively with vulnerable and marginalized communities in Canada, and abroad - with a focus on health equity, mental health, domestic violence, and financial support. Nour is interested in the welfare system and the ways it can be enhanced - or re-imagined. Upon completing her studies, she hopes to advocate for change in the welfare system and have the tools and expertise to do so.
