Alexandra Thatcher
I am a settler and PhD student living and studying on the territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe peoples, and the Rotinonhsiónni Confederacy. I am enrolled in the public policy and administration stream having recently completed my Master’s at Carleton’s School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies. There I complemented my studies as a researcher in a Senator’s office, as a policy analyst at Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and as a teaching assistant. I am interested in Indigenous governance and sovereignty, as well as the Politics of Recognition.
