How does learning about cultural heritage in embodied, interactive and immersive environments impact children’s interest in their culture? In what ways can children participate in the design and dissemination of their cultural heritage?

The aim of Daniella Kalinda's research-creation project is to co-design human-computer interaction (HCI) experiences using design thinking methods for children to engage with cultural heritage. At this stage in the research, the design thinking methods in creating these immersive learning environments explore children's creativity and the impact on self-efficacy beliefs when dynamically learning about cultural heritage in different HCI environments.
