Chris Donovan is a documentary photographer, and researcher focused on visualizing environmental harm and industrialization in Atlantic Canada. His current research is focused on issues of land use along the watershed of the Wolastoq/Saint John River (Wolastokuk). Using practice-based methods, Donovan investigates and demonstrates how colonialism infiltrates contemporary quotidian Maritime life and presents itself visually on the landscape.
