Performance Acting faculty member Cynthia Ashperger stars in Canadian Film Fest short film "Of May"

The Canadian Film Fest (external link) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to celebrate the art of cinematic storytelling by exclusively showcasing Canadian films. The festival unites film-loving audiences with diverse selections of features and shorts from across the country.
This year, Performance Acting faculty member, Cynthia Ashperger will be a featured actor in the short film "Of May" directed by Brit Kewin.
About Of May
May, an elderly woman alone in her house, is drawn into a fantasy world by a distant memory. When her daughter (Ashperger), Sharon, arrives and disrupts the illusion, both are forced to confront the reality of May’s deteriorating mental state.
