Performance Dance Featured in Cast Announcement for Mirvish Production of The Lion King

On July 18th, 2024, Mirvish announced the cast (external link)  for the highly anticipated new Toronto production of Disney’s The Lion King. Performance Dance alum Vania Dodoo-Beals (external link) , Rose-Mary Harbans (external link) , and Adrienne Metivier (external link)  join the ensemble and current Performance Dance student Lia Loewen (external link)  is cast as a swing performer. 

The cast is set to begin rehearsals in early September with the show opening in November, more information about the show can be found on the Mirvish website (external link) . 

Performance couldn’t be more proud of the achievements of our students past and present, and we’re extending a round of applause to the entire cast!
