Performance at The Creative School students take the summer months to rest, recharge, and explore multitudes of creative pursuits! Of course, these summer projects take many shapes and forms, so we're taking time this summer to share some of the different ways our students spend their summers!
Luis Zaldivar-Gonzales is going into his 4th year of Performance Production + Design. In the program so far Luis has focused on roles like stage management and production management. This summer, Luis is working for Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida as part of the International Cultural Exchange Program. For the course of his program he'll be working at Disney's Hollywood Studios, specifically in the attractions Muppet Vision 3D and Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. For his Student Summer Shares he offers a variety of pictures from his magical summer.
Luis tells us that working for Walt Disney World "has been a great place for networking and an even better one for having fun!"
For the upcoming school year I am looking forward to working on a couple of more shows with the school before I graduate. I hope that this next year will allow me to hammer down some skills that I’ve gained in the past 3 years. I am also very excited for one more year with my peers as we enter our senior year!
