Interdisciplinary Program Evaluation Curriculum

Description: The learning object contains four new online modules, which can be used as learning objects in multiple online courses and disciplines. The modules will be developed by a multidisciplinary team from three faculties at Ryerson University, with expertise in psychology, nursing, early childhood studies, and politics. The modules are meant to serve as a core foundation for program evaluation, which could then be supplemented in courses with discipline-specific content. The proposed modules (between 45 and 60 minutes in length) would cover 10-15% of a a one-semester undergraduate, graduate or certificate course.

SCORM packages are used to import content into a Learning Management System.

Dr. Kelly McShane, CE, CPsych, PhD
Associate Professor, Health Services Management
Dr. McShane is a community-engaged researcher passionate about evidence-based service delivery in community settings; capacity building and evaluation infrastructure; realist syntheses; and community-engaged learning and teaching, with a focus on addictions and mental health. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and credentialed evaluator. She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Consortium of University for Evaluation Education and the Treasurer of the Community Psychology section of the Canadian Psychology Association.
