Dr. Linh Nguyen is an environmental health and exposure data scientist. She is currently an associate faculty member at the School of Occupational and Public Health, Toronto Metropolitan University, and works as a research associate/project manager at the Occupational Cancer Research Centre (OCRC) based at Ontario Health. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences with a specialization in Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Nguyen has participated in several occupational and environmental public health studies, focusing on using novel exposure assessment and data science tools to advance the understanding of human exposure to hazardous substances. At OCRC, she manages and analyzes large Ontario and US exposure databases, which contain over 11 million exposure measurements for more than 100 hazards, spanning from 1960 to the present. Dr. Nguyen is also a co-investigator on a project funded by the Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) that assesses the use of US national exposure databases to improve compensation and prevention in Ontario workplaces.
