Sharon Wong
Sharon Wong (PhD, RD) is an associate professor with the School of Nutrition and has a background in health research methodology and applied human nutrition. Prior to joining the faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University, Wong practiced as a registered dietitian in a family practice setting. Her work focuses on the areas of knowledge translation, research ethics, and research methodology in nutrition, online nutrition communications and nutrition in seniors. Wong teaches in both the graduate and undergraduate programs in the School of Nutrition. Her teaching interests focus on research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative traditions; professional practice; and knowledge translation. She is currently chair of the Graduate School Admissions Committee in the School of Nutrition.
