Marcelle Mullings

As a Black undergraduate student who struggled to find a sense of belonging, Marcelle was inspired to pursue a higher education career to effect change for equity deserving students, build student services guided by care and compassion, and cultivate a community where people feel welcome, valued and engaged in contributing to the success of the university.

Marcelle’s work and experience are based on building solid relationships and working collaboratively with campus partners across the university to support the personal and academic success of students. She hopes her empathetic approach and commitment to building an inclusive and welcoming community will contribute to making the committee a collegial, engaging and meaningful experience that brings bold and transformative results aligned with the university’s commitment to reconciliation.
