Kiaras Gharabaghi

Communities are always at the heart of what Kiaras thinks about. As the Dean of Faculty of Community Services and with a multi-ethnic and multi-faith background, he feels that his life reflects the complex ways of being that are also reflected in the university's community. Kiaras believes community is a local manifestation of the world, and he is both honoured and excited to be part of exploring how to capture that world in just a few words for the university’s new name. Kiaras is deeply committed to being engaged in how the committee discusses, debates and celebrates the name possibilities.
