Brian Segal

Brian is honoured to serve on the University Renaming Advisory Committee as he is passionate about the university and its future. He hopes to assist in selecting a name that will build on the successes of its past, acknowledge its contemporary achievements, and propel it to a vibrant, diverse, and strong future. As a former President, honorary alumni, current Distinguished Visiting Professor and Chair of the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre, Brian has had many years of association with the university and many opportunities to engage with students, faculty, alumni and donors. He hopes this experience which has permitted him to see the profound changes at the university over many years, along with his commitment to continuing to attract strong and diverse students and faculty, will guide him to offer relevant advice to the committee.
