An update on changes to University Advancement and Alumni Relations
I am writing to update our community on some recent changes to the University Advancement and Alumni Relations portfolio.
Last week, Ian Mishkel, the former vice-president of University Advancement, concluded his time with the university. I want to thank Ian for all that he has done for our university over the past five years and wish him great success in future endeavors.
I am pleased to share that on Monday, the Board of Governors approved the appointment of Rivi Frankle as interim vice-president of University Advancement. Rivi has been with the university for over 10 years, has played a very positive role in donor relations, and previously served as interim VP after the retirement of Adam Kahan.
I have great confidence in Rivi to lead the UA team. She will be taking the next few months to conduct a review of the university’s advancement strategy. At the conclusion of the review, the university will begin our search for the next vice-president of University Advancement and Alumni Relations. I will keep the community updated on the status of the review and our upcoming search.
