Join us for a hands-on workshop with Veeshva Rana, Creative Technologist at the Design Fabrication Zone, and learn how to turn hand-drawn designs into precise vinyl-cut stencils. Focusing on henna and jagua body art, this session covers vector design fundamentals and an analog-to-digital workflow to transform sketches into cut-ready files. Beyond body art, vinyl stencils can be used for nail design, custom signage, branding on wood and metal, and resist techniques for painting and etching. Open to students, DFZ members, and makers of all skill levels, with priority for BIPOC participants, this workshop is a great opportunity to explore the creative potential of vinyl cutting.
