“Mighty Little Seeds” come in all shapes and sizes, and are a key part of our entire food system. In honour of Black History Month, we will learn about and celebrate seeds in their crucial role in ensuring our food sovereignty.

This workshop will explore how to save seeds, how to label and store seed packets, how to conduct seed germination tests, and so much more. Participants will be able to take home some saved seeds from the Farm’s Black Food Sovereignty Initiative to continue the journey of mighty little seeds at home!

Fees:
Student: $10.00
Public: $15.00

All proceeds from workshops help support ongoing programming and operations at the Urban Farm.
