Let's Celebrate Latin American Heritage Day at TMU!

The Latinx Employee Community Network and OLAS invite you to celebrate Latin American Heritage Day at TMU.

October is recognized as Latin American Heritage Month in Canada, and Hispanic Heritage Month in the province of Ontario. This month is an opportunity for the TMU staff, students and community members to join us in recognizing and celebrating the heritage, culture, achievements, and contributions of Latin American and Hispanic communities across Canada. At TMU we decided to celebrate early in September, so that our student community can freely participate before they get too busy with mid-term exams.

To give back to the community, we have invited local Latin American food vendors, artists and artisans, as well as performers. Come out and support our vendors to kick off Latin American Heritage Month. Gracias!
