Dr. Valentina Capurri

Valentina Capurri has Master's degrees in History and Geography and a PhD in History. She is a sessional instructor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies. Since 2017 she has been teaching an Upper Level Liberal Studies course on the geography of the Middle East. Among her research interests is the impact of Western influences in shaping the politics in the MENA region as well as issues of racialization and settler colonialism in historic Palestine.
