The Migration Disrupted conference was organized by Toronto Metropolitan University research programs CERC Migration and Bridging Divides. During the conference,  Associate Professor Alexandra Mazalek delivered a talk titled 'Understanding Migration: Leveraging Tangible and Embodied Media for Insightful Data Exploration'. She showcased how interaction methods like MEMO's data visualization could enhance collaborative understanding of intricate datasets, particularly in the context of migration research. Additionally, Associate Professor Alexandra Mazalek's Tangibles Design class students, along with Post-doctoral Research Fellow Roozbeh Manshaei, showcased MEMO data and interactive maps during the event.
