Bridging Divides Retreat

A one-day meeting designed for all researchers, affiliated researchers and HQPs at TMU who are part of the Bridging Divides team

Led by BD's Ali Mazalek and Ebrahim Bagheri, this retreat aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing among researchers working on various projects within the BD program. It's an opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and explore collective solutions to challenges in your research.

During the retreat, participants will gain insights into how some of the science and engineering research groups within BD are using technology and digital media design to advance their projects. There will be ample time for Q&A sessions, as well as opportunities to present your own ideas, challenges, or seek feedback from peers working in different fields.

Submit a talk proposal

Submissions for 10-minute talk proposals were a crucial part of the retreat. Students and early-career researchers working on BD projects are particularly were encouraged to submit their ideas and actively engage in the retreat. This was a unique opportunity to share work with others in BD, practice your presentation skills, and gather feedback from colleagues working in different fields.
