Ted Rogers MBA ranks among top ten MBA schools for reputation: Canadian Business

The Ted Rogers MBA program has been ranked (external link)  among the top ten Canadian MBA programs for reputation by Canadian Business.

“This is a historic moment for the Ted Rogers MBA program. In just ten short years, we have proven that an MBA focused on innovation and entrepreneurship is a winning value proposition,” says Steven Murphy, dean of Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (now Toronto Metropolitan University). “This accomplishment speaks to the strong calibre of our dedicated MBA students, alumni and industry-connected faculty who have built this program on a strong foundation that mixes internal collaboration with feisty external competition.”

Since launching its two flagship programs in 2006 – MBA and MBA Technology & Innovation -- the recently renamed Ted Rogers MBA program has increased the number of graduates tenfold, from 50 to over 500, with 95 per cent being successfully employed within six months. The program has consistently ranked among the top 10 Canadian MBA programs by Canadian Business. And for the first time in 2015, the program ranked among the top 100 best MBA schools worldwide by The Economist.

In addition, some 80 students are involved in national and international MBA case competitions with top tier schools each year, often winning first place; and in the case of The Economist’s Real Vision Investment Case competition (opens in new window) , taking first place this year.

The Ted Rogers MBA program allows students to specialize in areas that are growing in the marketplace such as international business, real estate as well as technology and innovation. Students can also take professional masters diplomas in emerging fields such as data security and social innovation for non-profits (launching in January 2017).

Ranking Methodology:

The magazine partnered with Rogers Consumer Insights to survey 1,000 people – MBA students, industry professionals and corporate recruiters -- across the country to find out their perception of every MBA program Canadian Business tracks.
