George completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management at York University. As a Certified Human Resources Professional, he believes in engaging, empowering and elevating people in building highly successful organizations. He works extensively in collaboration with social services and community not-for-profit organizations across Ontario, supporting sectors including homelessness, mental health, justice, newcomer, human trafficking, and violence against women.

George is also passionate about giving back to the community and currently volunteers for a not-for-profit organization, running employment and resume-writing workshops for youths and newcomers to Canada. As the next step in his career journey, George is excited to leverage his foundation to contribute to class discussions, foster connections with like-minded peers and build a strong network within The Ted Rogers School of Management community.

Why did you decide on the Ted Rogers MBA program?

I am focused on the next step in my career to grow my business acumen, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. Recognizing the pivotal role HR plays in driving organizational success, an MBA will complement my experiences and career path in understanding the intricacies of business and operations so that I can act as a trusted and knowledgeable consultant and make informed decisions.
