Dorin is an MBA candidate at the Ted Rogers School of Management and an alumnus of TMU’s Entrepreneurship & Strategy program. As an undergraduate, he excelled in athletics, serving as a Pitcher for the TMU Baseball Team and President of the Toronto Metropolitan Sports & Business Association.
Professionally, Dorin spent four years at Manulife Financial as a New Business Case Manager, later stepping into the role of Engagement Lead to mentor new employees through various coaching sessions.
With a honed ability to manage client relationships, Dorin has returned to TMU and joined the MBA Sport Leadership Association (SLA) as their VP of Events. Combining his passion for sports with leadership, Dorin and his SLA team organize educational events that connect students with sports industry professionals to gain key insights and working experience. He is excited to leverage his skills and experiences to enrich his student community.
Why did you decide on the Ted Rogers MBA program?
As a proud alumnus of TMU’s Business Management program, I chose to return to the Ted Rogers School for its vibrant community and abundant resources. The faculty is exceptional and engaging, the students are passionate and collaborative, and the institution is home to world-class incubators and strong partnerships with some of the most influential global brands. Returning to my alma mater represents both the fulfillment of a personal promise and an exciting step toward achieving my professional aspirations.
