Hilary spent 10 years working for some of Toronto’s leading arts organizations before deciding to pursue her MBA at the Ted Rogers School of Management.
“I spent almost a decade in a very rewarding and focused career track,” she says. “The Ted Rogers MBA helped me understand how I could apply my work experience to other fields. It opened up opportunities that I never thought were possible.”
During her MBA, Hilary successfully competed in several case competitions and served as the Vice President – External Relations of the MBA Women in Leadership Association, helping raise over $14,000 for the YWCA.
She says the opportunities to learn outside of the classroom shaped her MBA experience and her current leadership role at Scotiabank.
“The classroom was a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences providing many perspectives. This made for engaging and insightful class discussions. The connections that I made continue to have a positive impact on my life today.”
