Jamie has over 35 years of transactional and operational experience across a diverse range of industries. He is currently Vice Chairman of Alexander Capital Group, an independent investment bank. Previously he spent 24 years in the investment banking group of BMO Capital Markets. Jamie's areas of specialization include M&A, strategic advice and capital raising. Jamie headed up BMO Capital Markets' real estate group for 10 years.

Jamie is an experienced director and serves on a variety of corporate and not-for-profit boards. He is a board member and Chair of several Audit Committees including Canadian Tire Bank and investment funds managed by Scotia Managed Companies. He is also on the board of AGF Group of Funds and Polycor Inc.

Jamie obtained his B. Comm (Honours) from Queen's University, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and holds the Institute of Corporate Directors designation.
