
Christina Hatziioannou
Christina’s career has been focused on developing strategies that disrupt, innovate, and change Canada's traditional retail banking model. In 2008 Christina joined CIBC and has held multiple leadership roles across the bank. As the head of CIBC’s Digital Strategy & Innovation Lab she led a team of over 50 and developed strategies which transformed the way clients interact with their bank. As a Head of Industry at Google, Christina is a trusted adviser to c-suite executives of large financial institutions & insurance companies where she offers support in helping them modernize & transform their approach to exceeding their business goals.
Christina was awarded the honour of being selected as one of WXN’s 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada. This award recognizes the accomplishments of strong female leaders. Christina was also recognized as one of Canada’s Top 50 Women in FinTech by Digital Finance Institute. She earned an Executive MBA from Western’s Richard Ivey School of Business and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s Smith School of Business. Christina is frequently invited to speak as a keynote speaker at industry conferences across North America.
