Jason Boyd
Jason Boyd is a specialist in Digital Humanities. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Ryerson, and the Director of Ryerson's Centre for Digital Humanities. He is also an Assistant Director of the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) at the University of Victoria.
Jason’s current research focuses on the connection between digital technologies and life writing (The Texting Wilde Project), narrative in digital games (the Stories in Play Initiative), and queer digital humanities.
Research Interests
His research and teaching interests include: digital editing and textual analysis, online social scholarship, procedural creativity, game studies, critical code and platform studies, and queer studies/digital humanities.
