Biography

Derek Wilson is a Brazilian writer, director and editor who was worked in productions in Canada, Spain, Brazil and South Africa. He has pitched his work in some of Latin America's biggest pitching sessions. A film he wrote, directed and edited as a film student was screened at SouthAfrica Horrorfest, the biggest horror film festival in Africa. He is currently in the post production process of his most ambitious short shot Brazil- featuring industry veterans, including Marconi Andrade and Larrisa Rolim who won best feature at the Brasilia Film Festival, Brazil's oldest and most prestigious film festival. Here in Canada, he is one fourth of the comedy production group known as No Tip Comedy.
