Biography

Het Shah, a computer engineering graduate, embarked on his journey into the world of design during his undergraduate years. It was there that he discovered the pivotal role of front-end development and the significance of UI/UX in design. Motivated by this revelation, he took it upon himself to delve deeper into the realm of UI design through self-learning.

With an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for career advancement, Het made the strategic decision to relocate to Canada, where he enrolled in a User Experience certificate course at Humber College. This marked a pivotal moment in his career, solidifying his commitment to mastering the intricacies of UX design.

Throughout his early career, Het has amassed valuable experience by working with numerous startups, contributing both as a web developer and a designer. His portfolio boasts an impressive array of over 80 websites, each showcasing his proficiency and versatility in design and development.

Digital media offers a dynamic platform that merges technology with creativity, and I'm excited to delve into its potential. As the world progresses towards immersive experiences like AR/VR, I see endless possibilities to blend my UI/UX skills with these cutting-edge technologies. The Master of Digital Media (MDM) course at TMU presents a clear pathway for me to cultivate expertise in this evolving field.

I am naturally driven by curiosity, eager to engage with diverse perspectives and innovative thinking. Pursuing this degree not only satisfies my thirst for knowledge but also provides me with the necessary tools to excel in my career. I envision leveraging my newfound skills to contribute meaningfully to the digital media landscape and pursue work that truly aligns with my passions.
