Ashitosh is a Product Designer driven by curiosity whose passion lies in UX Research, Design Systems, Visual Design, Accessibility, AR/VR and Gen AI. His journey began with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, where he laid the foundation for his career in the tech industry. Eager to expand his horizons, Ashitosh pursued a UX/UI bootcamp at the University of Toronto SCS, where he immersed himself in user experience design and front-end development, solidifying his expertise in crafting seamless digital experiences. Additionally, he has completed a UX design bootcamp from DesignBoat UI/UX School, a leading UI/UX School in India.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, Ashitosh has amassed multiple certifications in UX, design, front-end development, and various design tools, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. His work not only showcases his proficiency in UX Research and Design Systems but also reflects his deep understanding of emerging trends such as Accessibility and Gen AI. With a focus on creating intuitive and inclusive user experiences, Ashitosh continues to push the boundaries of innovation, cementing his position as a dynamic force in the ever-evolving landscape of product design.

Why Digital Media?

I am driven by the ambition to merge my technical prowess with creative ingenuity and entrepreneurial acumen, motivating me to pursue a master's degree in digital media (MDM) from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Recognizing the program as a pivotal step towards my aspirations, I seek to enrich my understanding of product design methodologies while acquiring essential business skills crucial for my envisioned career trajectory. With a keen eye on industry trends and inspired by design leaders, I aim to establish a dynamic digital design studio, leveraging emerging technologies like AR/VR and Gen AI. My ultimate dream is to contribute meaningfully to innovative projects at Netflix as a Product Designer, viewing the MDM program as a transformative opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for success in the tech industry.
