Biography

Valerie lives with constant curiosity on how to create differently. Her reasoning for loving art so much is its non compliance. She has always loved the art of movement and music as she grew up as a rhythmic gymnast and dancer. 

As a humanist, she understands the human mind through her undergraduate studies in psychology. Valerie finished her honours thesis in behavioural neuroscience in addiction research. With her research skills and understanding of mental health she hopes to apply to her future projects. 

Upon graduation Valerie pursued freelance photography and found her love for visual art. Although not totally sure of what her future holds she hopes to pursue a career in something creative. 

Why Digital Media?

I wanted to pursue a degree that appreciated intersection between art and science in this case fine art and technology. I also wanted to surround myself with other creatives in hopes of learning from other diverse and inspirational individuals. Collaboration in art has always been and will always be important to me.
