Biography

Swetlana Adhikari is an Architect from India with over 4 years of work experience. She also holds a Post Graduate Certification in UX Design from Humber College,Canada, where she was recognized on the Dean’s list. 

She founded SEDX, a sex education platform for youth in India, where she conducted market research, developed a business model, and secured financial grant and now working to launch the platform soon. 

As a freelance UX designer, she has worked on projects that include redesigning e-commerce sites and creating VR experiences, driving significant user engagement and business impact.

Swetlana’s journey in design began in architecture, where she honed her skills in project management and design thinking. She has led residential design projects with Homelane, achieving remarkable results in client satisfaction and revenue growth. Her work is characterized by a deep understanding of user behavior, a passion for impactful storytelling, and a relentless focus on creating meaningful user experiences.

With experience spanning across design management, freelance UX design, and entrepreneurship, Swetlana has a proven track record of developing innovative solutions that blend aesthetics with functionality.

Outside of her work, Swetlana is a passionate dancer with a thriving YouTube channel, where she shares Indian dance styles and performances that have garnered over 200k views. 

She brings creativity, leadership, and a user-centered approach to every project she undertakes.

Why Digital Media?

I chose Digital Media because it perfectly merges my passion for creativity, technology, and user experience. With a background in architecture and UX design, I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of aesthetics and functionality. Digital media allows me to explore this further by crafting immersive experiences that engage and educate users. Whether I’m designing interfaces, creating digital storytelling projects, or developing VR experiences, digital media gives me the flexibility to blend design and technology in innovative ways, making a tangible impact on both users and businesses.
