Biography

Muhammad Khizar Khan is a passionate and skilled UI/UX Designer and Software Developer with a strong foundation in Computer Science. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Karachi, where he cultivated problem-solving and analytical skills essential for software development, database management, and UI design. His diverse technical expertise includes proficiency in languages such as Python, C#, and Java, along with being skilled in Figma, Prototyping, Design Systems, Relational Databases, Backend and REST API development.

Khizar has consistently delivered impactful user-centered design solutions across various industries, as demonstrated by his experience working as a UI/UX Designer at Architek Health Inc. in Florida, where he contributed to improving the user experience for Telehealth platforms in the USA. In addition, he played a pivotal role as Chief Design Officer at GahakApp, a startup that empowers small sellers with online storefront capabilities.

With a proven track record in startups and established companies alike, Khizar’s work has extended to international roles, such as his UI/UX Designer role at Architek Health Inc. in Florida, USA, UI/UX Design Internship at Squarera in London, UK, and Atom360 in Bangalore, India, where his redesign efforts helped slash diagnostic times and improve patient outcomes. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to found KNOS Digitals, a product agency startup where he honed his leadership skills and mentored students in software development.

Khizar’s design philosophy is driven by the desire to create solutions that not only meet business goals but also deliver an intuitive and seamless user experience. His portfolio highlights his dedication to enhancing the digital media landscape and exploring the future of immersive design.

I have chosen the Master of Digital Media program at TMU because it aligns perfectly with my aspirations to explore the intersection of creativity, technology, business, and impactful storytelling. The program offers a well-structured curriculum, renowned faculty, and valuable research and project opportunities that will help me refine my skills. More importantly, it will provide the ideal platform to further my entrepreneurial journey as I continue to innovate and contribute to the digital media landscape.

Having already worked on various design and software development projects, I know that TMU’s resources will push my boundaries and provide a solid foundation to bring more impactful digital solutions to life. This program represents the next step in my career, offering me the tools to integrate my design thinking, software development experience, and passion for visual storytelling into creating groundbreaking digital experiences.
