Biography

Colombian video editor and front-end designer known for her work in several film productions. She has worked on projects such as 'Kintsugi' (2024), 'El Faro' (2013) and 'Carro Bomba' (2005). She has also worked as a script supervisor and assistant director on several projects in her country.  

Julia has demonstrated her versatility in the creative industry, contributing to different roles and projects in both audiovisual and app development. Her talent and dedication have made her a recognised figure in the Colombian film industry.

Why Digital Media?

Throughout my career, I’ve moved between various creative fields, using my technical knowledge and skills across different project areas. It’s gotten to the point where it’s hard to answer when people ask me what I do. So, when I moved to Canada, I looked for a Master's program that would help me refine my profile and found the MDM. To my surprise, it not only dives into UI and UX design, but it's also designed for people like me with mixed interests. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be part of it.
