Biography

Hooman is a musician, researcher, and sound artist. Interested in experimental approaches to sound, science, and technology. He explores various disciplines such as psycho-acoustics, computer music, and cybernetics. As tools in his artistic practice, he uses creative coding, field recording, and electronics. His recent pieces investigate complex systems, natural algorithms, and human-machine interaction. Hooman also composes for media, installations, films, and immersive experiences.

Why Digital Media?

Digital Media is genuinely reframing the future of our everyday lives. I chose MDM because I appreciate the program’s transdisciplinary approach and enjoy participating in a program with students from diverse backgrounds.
