Biography

Mingxuan Chen is a decisive and self-assured individual, known for her bold actions and a strong penchant for experiential learning. She graduated from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management with a major in Management, focusing on Marketing and Cross-Cultural Leadership, completing her degree in just three years with Distinction honors. After graduation, she worked with China Resource CO., a Fortune 500 company, in international brand management and sales roles. Later, she transitioned to Anker Innovation LTD., a leading cross-border e-commerce company in China, as a Project Manager in the marketing department. Mingxuan has a strong interest in the arts, particularly painting and design. She believes in the synergy between art and business, continuously exploring the connections between these two fields to unlock new opportunities for both.

Why Digital Media?

I have always had a strong interest in both art and business, and in today's digital age, I believe that Digital Media is the perfect field to bridge these two areas. The convergence of creativity, art, and technology in Digital Media allows for mutual influence, sparking innovative solutions that are in high demand in our era. Furthermore, I believe that the specialized knowledge and skills offered by a Digital Media program can greatly contribute to the advancement of related business fields such as marketing. Concepts like storytelling, UI design, and media communication are integral components of Digital Media that can enhance the development of business strategies and practices. In essence, I see Digital Media as a dynamic and versatile discipline that not only aligns with my personal interests but also holds tremendous potential to shape the future of both art and business, making it the ideal choice for my academic and professional pursuits.
