Biography

Ian graduated from the Schulich School of Business at York University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing. Since graduating, most of Ian's professional experience has been in production accounting for film and TV shows in Toronto. Ian also worked as a business analyst at a digital media firm in London, UK. 

An avid reader and futurism nerd, Ian loves learning new things and finding books that change the way he sees the world. While taking the Digital Art Production certificate through TMU, Ian developed an interest in UX design and human-computer interaction. He's interested in the way people will consume and interact with technology in the coming years, particularly in mixed reality and gaming environments. 

Why Digital Media?

Digital media is an exciting space that is constantly changing and growing.  I chose the MDM program because it allows me to build on my professional experience while expanding my knowledge in different areas. This year is ultimately what we make of it; TMU provides support and resources whether I want to build new skills to use in my career or to study digital media from an academic perspective.
