Biography
Ricia Paul is a Digital Marketing/Communications Strategist. She has always had a passion for public speaking and entertainment. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communications with a specialization in Television Production. After graduating she gained experience through various roles across Communications, Public Relations and Marketing. She went on to diversify her skill set by completing a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing where she was drawn to Social Media Marketing and Brand Strategy. Ricia’s effervescent personality allows her to win over even the most challenging personalities.
Why Digital Media?
Over the years I’ve seen how diverse but complementary skills and knowledge base can enhance your effectiveness within any given organization or project. Yes, you can have a focus in a specialization you’re passionate about but a broad base of knowledge on fields and subjects related to your focus can help make you a better-rounded professional. This is why I chose MDM. I believe that the skills I will acquire during this program will be the bridge that will connect my previous training and experience to the dynamic world of Digital Media.

The use of social networking sites rely on users self disclosure my research seeks to answer the following: how are the risks and perceived benefits of self-disclosure on social media calculated and measured by young professionals, that predicate the motivation to join professional SNSs e.g Linkedin?
