Biography

Krushnalee is a computer engineer and a graphic designer from India who is very keen to explore the amalgamation of art and technology.

She has a bachelor in Computer Engineering, during which she developed a new algorithm for increasing the security of IoT Devices. During this program, she also spent a lot of time exploring computer graphics, website design and human-computer interaction. Upon graduation, she worked shortly as an intern at a web development company and then went on to become a Visualizer, designing explainer-type videos for major international companies.

She is interested in a variety of topics including creative coding, projection mapping, storytelling and UI/UX design.

Why Digital Media?

Digital Media is a field where I can explore my artistic as well as technical abilities. Also, the MDM program is an amazing opportunity for me to meet and work with like-minded individuals who share my love for media. I am excited to explore the diverse world of digital media and further my technical and creative skills.

Major Research Paper

This research explores how combining interactive data visualizations and storytelling can increase active learning and hence have a higher chance of having a lasting impact on the audience. The project will be an attempt to combine data and storytelling and understand why such a form of education/newscasting is not yet common and how it can be made easier and more accessible to replicate.
