Biography

Ahmad Khaqan is a Digital Media Strategist with over 4 years of working experience with several prominent organizations & clients in Content Creation and Social Media Marketing. From brand development to advertising, graphic design, creative direction, WordPress development and most recently E-commerce product hunting, Ahmad has worked in various industries including Mass media, public relations, and now in the innovation sector.

Being interested in opportunities that happen at the junction of creativity and business, his marketing career started as a part-time social media strategist for an international volunteer organization IEEE RIUF, where he led the design & marketing team and enormously increased the exposure of the organization. Moving into content creation and E-commerce, he launched his own Print-on-Demand store where he achieved the mark of selling 650+ customized T-shirts in a week.

Outside of the social media sphere, Ahmad is an enthusiastic person with a robust personality, he has a life story of CHANGE. He is an extremely innovative individual with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ahmad has a history of leadership and has been recognized at International Level for his visionary ideas. He was awarded the 'winner' of IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals REVOL 2021 and was chosen to serve as the Young Professional Ambassador of IEEE Region 10 (Asia).

Why Digital Media?

I have always been fascinated by the fact that we can impact millions of lives with just one click of the mouse through Digital Media while having a cup of morning coffee. MDM provided me with the unique opportunity to master the realm of Digital and traverse the deep unexplored corners of Social Media & Entrepreneurship. 

My goal is not to live forever, but to create something that will last forever, a Legacy that will speak for itself! 

Major Research Paper

The research focuses on challenges faced by new entrepreneurs while launching a tech startup in Canada mainly in Toronto. The research is divided into two parts; Firstly, the research paper would identify the challenges that budding entrepreneurs experience when they are in the early stage of their tech startup journey. The second portion will serve as a response to the problems that were the subject of the first part of research, and we will either develop a manual, guide or another type of digital response, to address those issues.
