Major Research Paper
Lights! Camera! Canada! - A 360 Degree Autobiographical Documentary Designed for Immersive VR Environments.
This project aims to investigate the efficacy and potential of employing 360-degree videos as a medium for personal storytelling as well as the use of Immersive Virtual Reality environments (360 projection environments) to view these films. To achieve this, I review and analyze existing literature on Immersive VR environments and the use of 360 degree videos in non fiction storytelling. An autobiographical documentary depicting my relocation to Canada was also produced and screened to serve as a case study.
