Biography:

Laura is a Colombian media producer, video editor and web designer with a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communications. She started her career working in a production company in Bogota known for producing documentaries and lifestyle shows for Latin-American broadcast channels, where she worked as a production assistant, editor and motion graphics artist.

After a couple of years, she moved to Florianopolis, Brazil to pursue an internship as a graphic designer and motion graphics artist in a digital marketing agency. During a year she engaged in marketing campaigns for Brazilian brands and broadened her work to digital formats.

Back in Bogota, she worked for different production companies and agencies for three years. Working independently allowed her to take on different roles in production and post-production for local TV shows, documentaries, branded videos, commercials, a fiction series, and a feature film.

Why Digital Media?

In recent years Laura grew an interest in web design, producing several websites for the Canadian channel Telelatino. Her passion for digital formats and interactive media led her to the Master in Digital Media at Toronto Metropolitan University.
