Biography:

Roozbeh graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on visualization and sound design. He also obtained a certificate of engineering business during his studies and is very fascinated by how businesses work in this digital era. Following his interest in business and technology, Roozbeh worked as a freelancer in web design and marketing.

Currently, Roozbeh is working on visualizing data in virtual reality to create meaningful virtual installations and experiences. He believes that virtual and augmented reality are powerful immersive media through which the viewers can see themselves in the shoes of another more effectively. This helps them to see the issues and conflicts around the world more clearly.

Why Digital Media?

Digital Media took Roozbeh’s interest since it is the common ground of technology, business, and design. The multidisciplinary aspect of the program is very valuable to him because it creates a very open-minded learning opportunity. An interdisciplinary skillset is a requirement to succeed in the highly competitive marketplace of today.
