Biography:
Joanna is a recent graduate of Sheridan College's photography program where she explored commercial photography to define and develop themes for photographic bodies of work. She also completed a Certificate in Creativity and Creative Problem Solving in her undergrad in order to expand her knowledge on the applications of creativity in the industry.
In addition to photography, Joanna is a dog lover and advocates for rescue and adoption. She combines her passion for dogs with her work and volunteers with rescues like Cause4Paws and Save Me Rescue to photograph dogs and their stories. She hopes to use her work as a platform to explore more about the perspective people have about rescue dogs.
Why Digital Media?
Digital Media is integrated into everything we do. Joanna wants to bring everything she has learned in photography and explore the boundaries of her craft outside of just photographs to discover what role photography plays in the ever-growing industry of digital media.
