Biography
Rob is a Designer of interactive experiences. Formally trained as a designer, he combines his love of technology in his work and aims to discover how web technologies can be utilized to enhance interactive design. Rob is Part Time Faculty at the School of Media Studies & Information Technology at Humber College where he teaches web design.
Why Digital Media?
Over the past ten years, Rob has been involved with digital media as a student, designer, business owner and teacher. His unique background has shaped his skills in the digital realm. His earliest work focused on a broadcast method to distribute content. As each piece was completed, he became interested in how and if web technologies could be integrated into digital media. What started as very simple projects where video was mixed with live content has grown into the creation of self sustaining micro-networks where user generated content becomes the content. They are fed by interactions from the user.
