Biography

Allison developed a passion for the visual arts during high school. Her passion has grown over time to encompass graphic design and marketing. 

This past year she worked as a Marketing Coordinator and was the project lead on the re-design of two websites. She was responsible for writing the content for the websites and directed the development team. On her off-time she worked as a freelance graphic designer under the business name Allison Designs Business + Branding.

Most recently, Allison has partnered with Kaylie Greaves, another Masters of Digital Media member, to start their own company called Kahoots. Kahoots was formed after the two won the Slaight Business Plan Competition in March of 2014. Allison and Kaylie work out of the Digital Media Zone at Dundas Square where Allison takes the lead in all things creative including product development and product improvements.

Why Digital Media?

As the Director of Creative Innovation at the digital startup Kahoots, Allison wanted to further her knowledge in Digital Media and put her sharp eye and background in design to good use. Naturally the MDM program was an ideal fit.
