Digital Disruption Reflection

From August 18 to August 19, 2021, the MDM 8.0 cohort showcased their Major Research Projects on Twitch Live Stream. Projects showcased at the 2-day event ranged from efficient day-to-day working applications and technologies to effective discussions and stories utilizing various software technologies. 

This year, the 8.0 cohort was faced with their entire master’s program online because of the global pandemic. Due to this new environment, the entire cohort had to adapt to this new digital landscape. Digital Disruption was the theme the 8.0 cohort came up with and our slogan was “We will rise up!” to reflect on the challenge of conducting our studies during this unprecedented time. Luckily, we were able to produce innovative and extraordinary major research projects and were able to present them over the course of 2 action-packed days.
